An ACE hook
2018
Tubular steel was partially flattened, allowing it to sit flush to the wall. A wooden back affords for Ace to hang behind the hook, without damaging the wall. We aimed for the object to place a higher value on low cost materials and processes.
Commissioned by Modern Design Review, for Ace Hotel London.

This collection of furniture was designed around the manufacturing process of crush bending. The objects act as an representation of the process - low cost, efficient and tough. However the objects in turn place a higher value on low cost materials and processes.

Car Stop + Truck Stop
2018
A humorous take on the simple doorstop adding rubber ‘wheels’ which grip the floor. Park your car or truck in place to hold the door open.

A Bench
2018
3mm aluminium is folded at different angles to give the sheet material structural integrity which allows for a long bench that uses less material. The folds in the sheet also act as the joining point to wooden A - frame legs. Both the legs and the folded sheet utilise the same angle to form a simple coherent joint.

Extruded Tableware
2016
A family of cups jugs and candlestick holders designed through experimenting with the process of ceramic extrusion. Extruding the body and handles in one step.

Pinch
2017
An exploration into the manufacturing process of metal tube pinching. This process is commonly used but not normally celebrated as the main feature of a product. The objects pay homage to the processes simplicity and functional forms, using it as the highlight for each object.

Blow Up Birdhouse
2017
From exploring the process of inflating plastic in fabric bags to wedge between existing surfaces. This low tech form of blow moulding, lead to a guerrilla style birdhouse. Inflated and dried in 5 minutes.

Ooho Cart

A private commission for Ooho Water. The cart was designed as a portable point of sale and storage unit, alongside display toys for there biodegradable alternative to plastic.

Nosey Neighbour

It's the most basic human instinct to lie. Throughout this project we observed human behaviour to create a series of technologically advanced objects, that re-create everyday tasks, carried out unnoticed on a daily basis. The objects are used to deter burglars from your home, focusing on the idea of deception.

Manufactory at Spitalfields Market
2017
A three day market stall at London Design Festival engaging with the public through the demonstration of live manufacture. Crush bent stools and pinched candle sticks were produced on site from raw materials and sold as final pieces.
